Step Show
In an effort to promote unity among local colleges and universities, the ScottCares
Foundation sponsored Salem College’s first-ever step show Friday, Feb. 8 from 7-10
p.m. on their campus in Hanes Auditorium.
Appropriately themed, Sisterhood Stomping the Yard, this event served as one of several
events sponsored by ScottCares and Black Americans Demonstrating Unity (BADU), a
Salem College student organization, for Black History Month.
Step show winners are as follows:
1st Place:
• Greater Cleveland Ave Christian Church
•
1st Ladies of W. D. Mohammed High School
Winners walked away with a trophy and $400 cash prize to help support community programming.
Winners received a trophy each.
All proceeds from event ticket sales will go to support the ScottCares Foundation Scholarship Fund.
